The Ethics and Effectiveness of Reparative Therapy for Gay, Lesbian, and Bisexual Clients

    • Describe the goals and processes of reparative therapy.
    • Understand the ethical and clinical implications of using reparative therapy.
    • Identify important skills and strategies that a clinician may use when a client requests reparative therapy.
  2. Please go to http://www.socialworkers.org/diversity/lgb/reparative.asp and read “Reparative and Conversion Therapies for Lesbians and Gay Men”, a web document published by the National Association of Social Workers.
  3. Return to this site and take the exam. You must pass the exam by answering 8 of the 10 questions correctly in order to receive 1 CEU.
